Climate Tensions

Created as part of the Family Sculpture Day event at the Ignite The Arts Festival in Penticton in March/April of 2022. collaboratively with Pippa Dean-Veerman, Keith Veerman and Eddie Beaumont. Below is a video documenting the collaborative work which was created in 3 hours from natural, found materials and recycled objects, flags flew in the winds and some prayer flags were frozen in an ice dome filled with flowers, pine needles and seeds. Flags frozen in the ice were tied to dogwood branches and as the ice melted they released, and blew in the wind.

The frozen words:

Stop.
Help.
Earth.
Act.
Now.
