Drink

The Okanagan is home to world class wineries and Lake Country is no exception, the scenic sip trail takes in local wineries. There are also ciders, craft brewers and even a kombucha tasting room to try. Below are favourites and more to explore! Note many wineries now require bookings for tastings. Check each website for details.

Sajiva Kombucha

The Okanagan’s first Kombucha Tasting room, Sajiva offer various blends of kombucha and also alcoholic kombucha. Try something new, we highly recommend the Blueberry and Chamomile Kombucha. Call by for a tasting and find your fav new brew. (there is also Motherlove Komucha in downtown Kelowna)

Intrigue Wines

This winery is owned an operated by a local family from right here in Oyama. The winemaker Roger Wong has built a strong range of wines and one of the best gift shops in the valley. It is a go to for local items, they have a great patio out back, bring a picnic or buy some goodies from their cooler to enjoy. A summer favourite drink is the Social Rose.

Arrowleaf Winery

The Bacchus made at Arrowleaf is the best, we highly recommend a tasting at this winery, they also have a great picnic area to hang out and enjoy their spectacular view. There is a small cafe in the winery that makes delicious cream puffs!

50th Parallel

Located at the far end of Carr’s Landing 50th Parallel is close to Coral Beach, it has it’s own restaurant The Block. A modern building with a lush tasting room. Worth the drive, our fav is the Pinot Gris. They also do wine in a can, for easy transportation. Reservations are usually needed for the restaurant.

Ex Nihilo

The name Ex Nihilo, is Latin for ‘Out of Nothing’. Inspired by a sculpture this winery has high end wines with roots in the music industry (Rolling Stones) and has also featured as a film set for some movies. The winery also has the Chaos Bistro on site. There are music and events hosted at this winery throughout the summer from movies to music and ecstatic dance.

Upside Cider

If you pass the Kelowna Airport headed to lake country you will see this cidery on the left, distinct with its upside down tractor outside. There is a tasting room, food and occasionally a pizza oven too! Some fantastical flavours to try.
