Our Top Picks

Here is a selection of our local favourites in Lake Country and beyond! Booking is advised in the summer as restaurants get booked up quickly.

Pane Vino

Freshly made pizza from a beautiful wood fired oven right here in Oyama. We gather here for special occasions and long summer nights. The location is a short walk from the beach by the Oyama Store so you can head down for an ice cream after your delicious food.

OKF Grill

Looking for something more casual? You can try out one of our favs OKF grill. Travis & Jeanette have been serving up beautiful burgers, fries and shakes for many years. Our go to’s include the bacon cheeseburger, Oyama Fries, Pulled Pork Sandwich and their selection of hard scoop ice cream. You can also catch our son Eddie playing drums and raising money for local non-profits some Sundays in the summer.

Salty Caramel Kitchen

If you are looking for some sweet vegan treats or a brunch spot down by the lake, this hidden gem in Okanagan Centre is a great place to check out. Just steps from the 4th street beach, take a stroll after you have filled your belly, with the amazing delights. Their Fried Egg Sandwich is our go to (also yummy Ice Cream sandwiches).

Frankie We Salute You

Honestly one of our go to places in Kelowna, their vegan food, is the most delicious I have had. The lunch special lets you mix and match and try one of their house made lemonades. Whether you are on your way to/from a winery tour, golfing or the beach it is worth the stop. A good idea to book ahead.

Invati Cafe & Smoothie Bar

Right next door to the best Yoga studio in the Okanagan you will find the Invati Cafe, from buddha bowls to smoothies, kombucha on tap and sweet delights. If you are on the go and want lunch for the beach or have time to sit outside on their patio this is a place we often drop in to.

Oyama Sunblush

Have a craving for some home cooked meals but don’t want to cook, Kate at Oyama Sunblush has you covered. From breads, cookies and soups to home made lasagne and mac and cheese. We often call in on our way to the beach for some sustenance for those long beach days.

AB Farms - Produce

Just around the corner on Trewhitt Road you will find the Allingham Family Fruit/Vegetable stand. They are a family owned and operated farm for over 100 years. Danielle who runs the stand has many seasonal vegetables in the stand, their corn, strawberries and honey are our favs. They also have tomatoes, lettuce, kale, beans, the selection varies week to week as the seasons change.
